Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare—also known as A Nightmare on Elm Street 6: The Final Nightmare—is a 1991 slasher film and the sixth entry in the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. Intended to serve as the final chapter in the series, the film was directed by Rachel Talalay and written by Michael De Luca.

Despite receiving largely negative reviews upon release, the film was a box office success. Notably, it became New Line Cinema’s first production to feature sequences presented in 3D.
