Chained and subdued, Kong is transported to New York City and unveiled on a Broadway stage as “King Kong, the Eighth Wonder of the World!” Ann and Jack stand beside him, surrounded by a flurry of press photographers. But the blinding flash of cameras agitates Kong, prompting him to break free as panic erupts and the audience flees in terror. Ann is rushed to a high-rise hotel room for safety, but Kong soon finds her, scaling the building to reclaim her. With Ann in hand, he rampages through the city, demolishing a crowded elevated train before beginning his iconic ascent of the Empire State Building. Jack urges authorities to send airplanes to stop Kong—carefully, so as not to harm Ann. As four biplanes approach, Jack, fearing for Ann’s life, hurries inside the building with Denham. At the summit, Kong battles the planes, managing to destroy one, but is soon overwhelmed by gunfire. Wounded and weakening, he shares a final gaze with Ann before succumbing to his injuries and plunging to his death on the streets below.

Whether you're a long time fan or a collector of classic film memorabilia, this one-of-a-kind display is a fitting tribute to one of the most iconic scenes in the film where he climbs the Empire State Building in New York surrounded by planes.
